We have been there,
we have done it
About us
It’s not that we know everything just because we are experienced. In fact, we know that we don’t know it all—because we are experienced in what we do. We’ve been there, we’ve done that, and we even bought ourselves the T-shirt.
Real knowledge makes one realize there’s always much more to learn. But knowing is not enough—not even close. Applying knowledge is what truly counts and what delivers results. The famous American philosopher Michael Jordan didn’t say, ‘Just think about it’ or ‘Just know about it.’ He put his philosophy as concisely as possible: ‘Just do it.’
At Insight Information, we have built and owned businesses; we have been leaders in organizations, and we have managed departments and teams ourselves. We also play other roles in life, like business partner, spouse, parent, and more.
From that experience, we know it’s not always easy. And often, the ones who seem to know best aren’t the ones who truly know—especially when it comes to knowing how.
About the founder: Jan Willem Jansen
Former chartered accountant. Former director. Former entrepreneur. Former bankrupt business owner. But above all, someone who helps leaders like you discover the qualities within themselves that are essential at the defining moments in your life and work.
Fundamental insight as the foundation for your professional and personal growth.
Jan Willem was once a successful entrepreneur and shareholder, leading various fast-growing companies. When one of those businesses went under, he radically changed course.
Drawing on the tough but valuable lessons he learned about himself—both as a person and as a leader—he transformed these insights into a rich source of knowledge and experience, which he now uses to help and inspire other leaders.

For over 20 years, Jan Willem has been a steadfast, full-fledged sparring partner for C-level professionals. Not as a coach dispensing the same wisdom and tricks to everyone, but as a personal and engaged counterpart. Face-to-face. Listening sharply. Asking critical questions.Pushing where it hurts to uncover why that is—and how you can use it to become the leader you’re capable of being.
